A RESTAURANT in Highams Park was the centre of attention
last week during a photo-shoot to promote a national flirting agency.
The newly opened Indian restaurant and bar, 1 The Avenue, was used
to promote the new school of seduction set up by former personnel officer
Elizabeth Clark.
Ms Clark's flirting school Rapport Unlimited which is based in Morcambe,
Lancashire, has enjoyed rapid success since its launch nine moths ago.
In fact, it has been so successful that bosses at a top London department
store have now agreed to pay Ms Clark £2,000 a day to train their
sales assistants in the art of flirting with customers, to encourage
them to spend more money. The request came after a firm of estate agents
in Preston doubled its turnover after Ms Clark spent time with staff.
Speaking to the Sunday Express this week, Ms Clark said: "Flirting
isn't just about trying to get someone in the sack, it's about communicating
better with the people of either sexy fun you meet every day.
"Unfortunately it's something that as a nation the British are
absolutely terrible at. We are far too reserved.
"It's nothing to do with being good-looking. One of the best flirts
in history was Margaret Thatcher."
Ms Clark continued by giving tips to impress the opposite sexy fun . She
said: "Apart from personal hygiene, confidence is the key to attracting
the opposite sexy fun , so if you haven't got it, learn to fake it. Walking
into a room with a smile is a good start.
"A short fat bloke who has bags of confidence can have as much
success with the ladies as some chiselled 6ft 4ins hunk with a six-pack
stomach."
The Highams Park restaurant owners were delighted to provide the location
for last week's glamorous launch, and posed for pictures with models
on the day.
